When should I book in for a first fitting?
We suggest booking in sooner rather than later to guarantee you place with us. If you book a first fitting around 3/4 months is ideal but we can always see you sooner or closer to your occasion date.
How long does my fitting last?
Fitting appointments are booked out in 1 hour slots.
Do I need to book an appointment?
We always recommend booking in advance as we can not guarantee that our fitting rooms and fitters will be available to see you at that moment in time.
What do I need to bring with me?
If you have your shoes bring these along to your fitting. If you have anything specific you want to try on with your dress e.g. underwear/accessories please feel free to bring these along with you.
How many fittings will I need?
We usually see you around 3 times for fittings but may be more depending on how much work is being carried out on your dress.
How many people can I bring along with me?
You can bring a couple of family and friends member along to your fittings but we do have limited space in the studio so we can only accommodate a handful of people per fitting. So we polity ask that you keep guests to a minimum.
Saturday appointments are double booked so please be aware that space is limited and can only accommodate 2 extra guests per party.
Are there weekend or late appointments?
We do one Saturday a month with appointments for fittings.
We can offer later appointments but there is a charge for these, please talk to a member of our team about this.
What to expect on a Saturday appointment?
Our Saturday appointments are very sought after and do get booked up in advance so if you do require these appointments they are first come first serve. We do one Saturday a month and both two fitting rooms are booked out throughout the day so if you require a private appointment please mention this when booking in your fittings.
You have an hour appointment for your fitting we advise to have a bridal fitting as one slot and if you require bridesmaids and other party members also that you may need to book two slots to allow time for you all to be fitted.
I haven’t found a veil yet, do you have anything to try?
We have a selection of veils and accessories to try on at your fitting and to purchase from us.
What if I am flying out to my wedding?
We have cabin sized flight boxes available to buy from our studio. We can also pack your dress into the flight box for you at your final fit collection appointment.
Who will I see at my appointments?
You may not see the same seamstress/fitter at each appointment as each member of our team has their own specialist areas so they may be teamed up with your dress to give you the most from your fitting.
I am wanting to change weight, what is the best time scale for this prior to the wedding?
We always recommend booking in a fitting sooner rather than later just so we can assess and go through your needs in plenty of time before your wedding. Don’t worry though if you are wanting to change we will always see you again closer to the wedding and can hold off on certain work until closer to the time.
Can I cancel/rearrange mt appointment?
Don’t worry if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment give us a call or message and we can do this for you.
Is there parking?
Yes, we have plenty of parking right outside our studio looking onto the beautiful land of Escrick Park Estate.
